Files and uploads
A site has two places for files.
- Project is the live site itself: what visitors are served and what git tracks. Only the files the site is made of belong here: pages, templates, code, images the site uses.
- Artifacts is for everything else: files you give Buddy to work from (a brief, a spreadsheet, photos to choose from) and files Buddy makes for you (reports, screenshots, exports). Artifacts are never served to visitors and never go into git.
Click a file to read it in the centre pane. To change a file, ask Buddy.
Uploading
Section titled “Uploading”Use the upload button in either pane, or choose a folder first to upload into it.
- Up to 64 MB per file. Several files can go up at once.
- An upload replaces a file of the same name in that folder.
- Give Buddy a file by uploading it to Artifacts, then mention it in the chat: “Use the photos I just uploaded for the gallery.”
